One I did not know this girl but its crazy how everything is coming back. I remember being in the nail salon and hearing these young girls talking about “Destiny’s Sweet Sixteen”. I’m thinking these girls are so young but look so grown. A few hours later I see a fire truck rushing down Jamaica Ave. I’m thinking sheesh I real bad fire must have happened cause they are in a rush!
Soon I hop on the N6 cause I’m so tired all I wanna do is go home. I sign on to facebook and I see a FB friend of mine say I hope Asia Johnson is okay. I immediately went into panick cause my cousin’s name is Asia Johnson. Well come to find out it wasn’t my Asia but another Asia.
She was fatally shot on the Q6 bus in Jamaica, Queens. Now that its coming back its so crazy. I seen that fire truck. I heard those girls talking about a party. (Asia was not one of them) I’m so hurt cause that could of been anyone. Just to think I was so close to a terrible accident that happened to such a young beautiful girl. Not only that but on a public bus? Really? This is how we have to live life. In fear that we can can get shot anywhere and anytime.
My heart goes out to her mom man. She’s one in a million mothers who have to bury her precious child. No parent should ever have to bury they’re child over something so stupid! No mom should ever have to be pressed that they’ll never see they’re child again.
R.I.P. you no longer have to struggle or suffer. I hope you didn’t go through much pain when God was calling you home. It’s sad cause the pain you felt was moved over to your family. I pray that God be with them and that’s he gives them the strength they need to move on. The fact that you passed away and the fact the life can’t stop tells me something. She was only fourteen. Smh.
I’d never wish death on my worst enemy cause death is permanent. You can’t come back from that 😢
